A father of three wonderful children and the husband of the worlds most amazing wife. I work in public schools in the central office as a director of curriculum and instruction. I was coming home from work each day and after making dinner and spending time with the family I was finding myself sitting on the couch, my wife and children sleeping, watching television. Typically I was watching nothing in particular, just wasting time until I was tired enough to sleep. I decided that for this new year I was going to have a better use of my time. I am going to read a book a week in 2010 and I am going to share my thoughts here. At the outset I am not sure that I will share this with anyone other than myself. Instead I hope to write to myself to capture my impressions.
